Our Program:
Our board and trains are designed with long term success in mind. Training is broken up into frequent, short training sessions through out the day to mimic how training is implemented into the home. On the weekends the dogs have downtime to just be dogs and absorb what they’ve learned during the week.
Frequent report cards are sent along with training videos of the skills they’ve worked on during the week. When you pick up, it lasts two hours to go over everything they’ve learned, allowing you a chance to get familiar with the new commands, and to answer any questions you may have about their training or what to expect going forward. Following the board and train there are 3 accompanying lessons to be had either at the facility, your home, or out and about to work out the kinks of the new training and your day to day life. There is a 30 (and counting) page handbook that does answer all the questions we’ve been asked over the years, but in person lessons always go further.
When you sign up for the board and train, we have a questionnaire that gathers all information we need for their stay with us and sends you a check list of all items we need. When they go home they’re sent with a handbook for your reference to follow along the following days and weeks from their board and train.
